If you already have an account with First State Bank & Trust, have your bank statement and Phone Banking password handy so you can answer some questions regarding your account(s) with us. Once the system is able to confirm the information you provided, you’ll have immediate access to your accounts online.

Log In Directions:

  1. Social Security Number or Business Tax Identification Number – Enter your tax identification number with no dashes.
  2. E-mail Address – Enter your email address including the domain address (Example: myname@aol.com)
  3. Primary Account Number – Enter the account you primarily use for the majority of you banking business.
  4. Primary Account Type – choose either Checking, Savings, Certificate of Deposit or Loan.
  5.  Security Question – If you forget your password and request to have it reset, you will be asked to answer the security question provided. This will be used for verification of identification. Avoid using commonly used identifiers in your question such as family name, birth dates, etc. You can make your security question anything you want.
    • Example questions:
      • What is your pet’s name?
      • What year was your mother born?
      • What is the name of the street you grew up on?
      • What was the model of your first car?
      • What city were you born in?
      • Who was your first grade teacher?
  6. Password – This is your 4-digit Phone Banking password. If you do not have a Phone Banking password you may use the last 4 digits of your social security number. This is a temporary password used for verification. You can verify your Phone Banking password by calling Phone Banking at 913-845-0050 or 1-888-845-2220 to make sure you’re using the correct numbers. If you have difficulty with this step, please call our customer service center at 913-845-2500 or 1-800-463-7782.

Once your information is confirmed, you will be prompted to choose an Access ID and to change your password for security purposes. The Access ID is not a secure field and can be anything that is easy for you to remember. If you call our customer call center with questions about your FirstOnline account a representative may ask you for your Access ID. They WILL NOT ask you for your password! Select a password that will be easy to remember. It must contain at least 1 alpha character and 1 numeric character and be between 6 and 17 characters in length. The password will also be case sensitive. NEVER share your FirstOnline password with anyone. Be sure to protect your password as you would any other confidential information.
