About Us
The Legendary Chief
Chief Tonganoxie was a man of peace. He chose to settle in an area that is now part of Southern Leavenworth County because of an abundance of timber, water and game. He shared the abundance of the land by offering meals, water and rest to travelers passing by his lodge. His hospitality was legendary.
The Chief’s image is synonymous with our bank values of listening, helping and being community driven. Our goal is to take care of our customers better than anyone else in every community that we serve.
